Lion. Dr. K.S. Rangasamy, MJF., the Founder Chairman of the college is a well known philanthropist in this part of the country. He hails from a village in Tiruchengode, Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu. In a mission to take education to every nook and corner of his region, which was then an educationally backward area, he started the Aarthi Educational and Charitable Trust. Following this, he started various educational institutions in Tiruchengode and KSR College of Engineering is one among them. His amazing contribution to the field of education has earned him the title ‘KalviRathna’. He has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate by the West University of USA, to acknowledge his exemplary contribution to education. He is also involved in the Textile industry and trade.
