College of Education - CE Admission Open
College of Education, Guwahati was established in 1987. The college is affiliated to Gauhati University and is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at College of Education, Guwahati in its various department. The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University. A Governing Body formed under the provisions of Gauhati University ordinance looks after the management of the college. Late Ramananda Baruah succeeded as the President after Late Dr. Gogoi. Shri Bharat Saikia was the founder Secretary and has been offering his services for the growth of the college till date.
