A.S. College.With the blessing of Lord Shiva and under the Loving guidance of Late Sri , Pradhan Acharya, Satsang, Deoghar this college had been established on the 31st July 1969 and since then it has been progressing by leaps and bounds. It was started in a building named Sri Satyanarain Bhawan with only 75 students on roll and at present this college has a total strength of 8000 students. This College imparts education in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce & Education. This is the only multi faculties college of the S.K.M. University, Dumka teaching up to honours standart is provided in almost all important subjects in these faculties. P.G teaching in commerce has been startd in this college from the session 1995-1997 and since then it is continuing. It is all due to the magnificent donation of Satsang Ashram to this college that it has come up as one of the most progressing institutions of the S.K.M. University, Dumka with brilliant academic results.The college has a glorious history of Awards and Acheivements since it was affiliated to T.M.Bhagalpur, University it had produce university topper in many departments, The college cricket team holds a very good position, even the girls have also shown their potential in the Volley Ball torunment held at the Bajla College, the Principal's room is full of trophies and shields.
