    Saveetha Medical College and Hospital is the brain child of the dynamic Founder and Chancellor of Saveetha University Dr.N.M. Veeraiyan. His vision and mission has been to provide education on par with international standards to equip medical graduates with skills to ably serve the global community. His tireless and dedicated endeavour to provide state of the art medical education began with the establishment of Saveetha Dental College and Hospital in 1988.

    Saveetha Medical College was established in 2008 as one of the constituent colleges of Saveetha University, with the aim of extending Saveetha University’s experience and expertise in the field of education to Medicine. It has been providing MBBS degree course since 2008 along with paramedical degree courses and Postgraduate courses in various clinical and non-clinical subjects since 2013.
