The Padmashree Charitable Trust was started in the year 1994 with a vision of establishing an organization working for social causes. This lead to start Padmashree Group of Educational Institutions to cater to the needs of the society. Founder trustees Sri. T K Narayanappa, Dr. Aswath Narayan and Mr. Satish together nourished this cause and have been rendering their service in this front.

In the year 1996, the Padmashree group had its launch with the inception of the First Physiotherapy College in Bangalore under Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Sciences. With this humble beginning of a single institution with 25 students in the year 1996, Padmashree made an impressive progress with 10 institutions, nurturing more than 2200 students today.
