RVS Teacher Training Institute was established in the academic year 2004-2005 by the RVS Educational Trust under the Chairmanship of Dr.K.V.Kupusamy, one of the great educational visionaries and institution builders of our country, over a period of two decades totally dedicated to the cause of education, especially in the field of Medicine, Science, Engineering, Technology and Management. The campus is located in an extensive 200 acres campus on the Coimbatore-Trichy highway. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution since 2010. RVS Teacher Training Institute is affiliated to Directorate of Teacher Education and Research and Training, Chennai, and approved by NCTE. NCTE vide Code : APSO1356 F.SRO/NCTE/TN-AI/ 2004-05/9324, Date : 13.12.2004. It has a very good team of faculty members with high qualification and experience. It contains well equipped laboratories, separate hostel for boys and girls, a good play ground and fully equipped library that enables students and faculty to meet their academic and intellectual needs.

During the last ten years of existence in the realm of teacher education, RVS Teacher Training Institute has produced 742 student teachers with good teaching competent and values. We impart teaching skills to our students through effective use of the quality management system. And also we shall endeavour to maintain a clean and green environment. We provide training programme for student-teachers and in-service teachers coming from government, Govt. aided schools and private schools in the various parts of the State. So, it helps the faculty members to access the school education system there by giving strong practical teaching knowledge to our regular students.
