Prabhakar Patil Education Society is located in Alibag of Maharashtra, which is a place of Tourist attraction. There was no Management Institute in this locality till 2009. The students aspiring for Master of Management programme were handicapped. To fulfill the aspiration of students of this area, Prabhakar Patil Education Society decided to start an Institute for Management education. This led to the establishment of Prabhakar Patil Education Society’s Institute of Management Studies in 2010.
The Institute gor accreditation from All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) to start Master of Management Studies (MMS) of Mumbai University in 2010. The two year MMS programme has already started since last year.
The Institute has excellent infrastructure with Computer Lab, Internet Connection and Modern Library. Professors visiting from different Management Institutes of Mumbai have expressed that the infrastructure at Prabhakar Patil Education Society’s Institute of Management Studies is better than many institutes located in Mumbai or Pune
