Prof.Dr.G. Maheswaran is the Principal of VSA Group of Institutions – The School of Engineering and The School of Management. He graduated in Civil Engineering through Annamalai University, Chidambaram in 1994. He got his M.E. in Structural Engineering in 2002 from the Regional Engineering College (now NIT), Trichy. He did his research at PSG college of Technology and obtained Ph.D. from Anna University Chennai in 2010. He has a track record of teaching experience spreading over 15 years in leading Engineering Colleges.

Has presented research papers in Conferences and published papers in his area of Specialisation. As a Research Supervisor eight research scholars are pursuing their Ph.D Programmes under his supervision.

As an educationist and academic head he has played vital role in the development of the institution. With his dynamic leadership the institution turns a leaf of good record every year.
