Sarvodaya College of Technology & Management was Established in July - 2003. The college initiated Graduate Programs, Post-Graduate Diploma & Diploma Programs, from JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, Udaipur, under Directorate of Distance Education with several discipline in Distance Education Mode like BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application), PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application ), DCST (Diploma in Computer Software Technology) & DCHT (Diploma in Computer Software Technology). In session 2007 we got affiliation from UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad. SCOTM can run several programs of UPRTOU. That was the milestone for institution and now the college got affiliation from PUNJAB TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, JALANDHAR in session - 2010 for several IT & Management Programs.
