It is a co –education institute recognized by N.C.T.E., Jaipur and affiliated to Punjab University ,Chandigarh. It is allocated with 100 seats for B.ED courses with a campus area of 32 kanal, 3 marlas. The other institutions run by the same trust are G.T.B. Khalsa College For Women, Dasuya and G.T.B. Khalsa Sr. Sec. Public School, Dasuya.

                      The college is situated in the heart of the city . It is situated on Hoshiarpur Road about 1 Km from bus stand and as about the same distance from railway station. The main emphasis in the institution is to produce competent and efficient teachers who can share global platform. Here emphasis is not on mechanical imposition of discipline through a system of punishment,but on arousing in students a sense of inner discipline and to make them automated personalities.
