Ramgarhia College of Education, Phagwara outshined in the first year M.Ed. result declared by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The college student Rajvir Kaur made the institution proud by securing first position in the University. Overall, the pass percentage of the college is 100% with about 60% students passing M.Ed. with distinction. Rajbir Kaur topped the GNDU M.Ed. first year result by scoring 401/500 marks in the first semester and 463/550 marks in the second semester. She paid heartfelt gratitude to her teachers and parents and said "concentration, hard work and devotion are the essential elements for success ". It is worth mentioning here that this is the first session of M.Ed. two years as per NCTE new norms and revised syllabi. So, it is an achievement for the college to grab such a laudable result in both the semesters.
S. Bharpur Singh Bhogal, President cum Chairman, Ramgarhia Educational Council honoured the position holder. He felicitated the Principal Dr. Surinder Jit Kaur, teachers and students of Ramgarhia College of Education for this marvelous achievement. Further, he said that the College has been a hub of excellence since its inception in 1956. The collaborative and constant efforts of all involved help the college in achieving milestones in the field of Education. Principal Dr. Surinder Jit Kaur articulated that the prospective teachers are not only groomed in co-curricular aspects in the college but they are unsurpassed in academics also. The College has lucratively attained the goal of optimum personality development and would carry on its quest for brilliance in prospect.
