Sri Durga Shiksha Niketan Samiti, Lucknow has been established under Indian Trust Act 1882 with the aim to provide quality higher education to all communities producing highly qualified person who may be able to provide their contribution to developing India. In the continuation of its aim, Sri Durga Shiksha Niketan Samiti established JURIS LAW COLLEGE, affiliated to University of Lucknow at Devri Rukhara, B.K.T. Lucknow.
The College is providing the facility of regular L.L.B. (Three Years) & Five years (Hons.) courses. In developing country like India, knowledge of Law is an essential element for all round development, that is why Law Colleges are taking step to provide Law expert and Jurist to India, by keeping judges to teach the students. The College has appointed well experienced and learned teachers who are at least Ph.D. or UGC (NET) qualified. The College has established placement cell for placement of students in national and multinational companies as Law officers after completing their course and training.
The College will also arrange the training camp under supervision of Senior Advocates and provide the facility of writing and editing of Journals as well as coaching of PCS, PCS (J), HJS, APO, BPO etc. Placement cell will also arrange time to time seminar, quiz and debate competition in the college for the all-round development of its students. The College is also planning to run L.L.M, M.Phil., M.B.L. & Ph.D. and degree & diploma courses related to Human Rights, Cyber Crime etc. Scholarship, prize and letter of Honors will be provided by the College to the meritorious students.
