Vindhyachal Women Development & Welfare Society (Regd.) was constituted as a registered body in 2002 with a vision to impart technical, Medical & Paramedical Education to groom up a bread of highly dedicated & skilled professions. Society planned to start a Nursing College in Jabalpur in the name of Amar Jyoti Institute of Nursing Science and Research. To impart a university level education in Nursing The Amar Jyoti Institute of Nursing Sciences and Research was started in 2003 with a vision to prepare highly skilled nurses as the Nurse - Patient ratio in India is very low. With the ever increasing pressure on the health sector the demand for qualified Nurses is on rise.
