Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math, situated in the state of Karnataka, India, is a Socio-Spiritual centre, which has the history of 1500 years to its credit. Dharmapeeta thus established by Lord Shiva, witnessed 70 Jagadgurus the 71st pontiff beig His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji and 72nd pontiff is His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji who is presently heading the Sri Math. After His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji, assumed the religious throne as Jagadguru started working towards the society in different areas. H.H.Swamiji started more than 400 Educational centers across the Globe, where in about one Lakh students from different cross section of the society are quenching the thirst of their Knowledge. With the vision of giving Modern Education with the Urban standards, to the rural mass, more than 85% institutions are started in Rural area. Blinds Schools are started at Karnataka and Tamilnadu States along with the Institutions for physically and Intellectually challenged. Destitute Centers and old age homes are established in many places to help the distressed mass of the society making their lives quite sublime.
