Central India Outreach (CIO) is one of the oldest ministries in India. Pastor, educator, and author Dr. Kurien Thomas accepted God’s call with a vision to reach forth from the heart of India and impact the ends of this nation. The Lord, however, took this dissertation writing work farther and used him to impact six continents of the world earning him a place as a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS). Out of his vision were birthed the Central India Theological Seminary (CITS) and the Fellowship Churches of India. Scores of God’s servants, who graduated from CITS, have gone to various parts of India, and also the world, working integrally with the Fellowship. During his life-time, Dr. Kurien authored several books in English, Hindi, and Malayalam. He was also honored by various groups for his contribution to the nation, especially towards literature and journalism. Dr. Kurien’s son, Dr. Matthew Thomas, founded Central India Outreach in order to venture, and charity.
