Ansar Arabic College got affiliated to the University of Calicut in 1970 and subsequently started receiving government grant. The college came under the direct payment scheme of the Government of Kerala in 1978. The college which has the permanent affiliation of the University ( No. GA1/g1/1695/2008 dtd 19-06-09 ) is the only government aided Arabic college in the Tirur Taluk of Malappuram District.
The college imparts quality higher education in Arabic language and literature to a large number of students from various parts of Malappuram District. The courses offered by the college are two year Afzal Ul Ulama Preliminary and three year BA ( Afzal Ul Ulama ) degree in Arabic. The college is proud of its alumni who are now rendering their service in higher positions both inside the country and abroad.
