Anand College of Nursing for Women is under the Management of Anand Model Educational & Charitable Society (Registered). It is the oldest one of its own kind in imparting the liberal education, intellectual moral and physical on sound national and cosmopolitan line with a view to broaden/open the minds of the young students and to promote educational research training and experimentation for the needs of the country in Para Medical/Medical Science especially in Nursing.
In view of the above, Managment has started regular General Nursing & Midwifery Nursing (3 years), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc.Nursing, 4 years), Auxillary Nursing & Midwifery (2 yrs) courses that are Recognised by Punjab Government, Punjab Nurses
Registration Council, Chandigarh, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The school of Nursing was started in 1987 with an idea to train Auxiliary Nurse Midwives. In 1992 the school was upgraded to 3yrs General Nursing & Midwifery 3 years course
