The college was established in April 2006 with two streams i.e. Arts and Commerce in this rural area of Saha with the motive of bringing the rural students to the mainstream by providing higher education to the youths especially to the girls. The first session of the college was started on 5 August 2006 with the blessings of the then Education Minister of Haryana Chaudhary Phool Chand Mullana. The college has achieved the target to cater the educational needs of the rural students especially girls by covering the areas of nearby villages and towns namely Shahzadpur, Mullana, Barara, Thana Chhappar, Sadhaura, Dosarka, Bihta, Nahoni, Gola, Badhauli, Gokalgarh, Shahbad etc.The college is permanently affiliated to the Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra and has applied for the UGC affiliation. The four batches of the graduates of B.A. / B.Com have been passed out and the fifth batch is in the pipeline. The present strength of the students of college getting education in this institution is 785 having 310 girls and 475 boys. The college has 19 sanctioned posts of Professors and sufficient non teaching staff. The college has the capacity to cater around 1200 students. The college is making the endeavour and efforts to start the Science stream from this coming session. The students of this college are not only shining in the academics but also in the field of Cultural activities and Sports in the regional as well as national level.
