Moridhal college is a co-educational institution having under graduate courses in Arts and Science under Dibrugarh University, Assam. There are 13 subjects in Arts viz. core subjects –English, MIL(AS/HINDI/ALT ENG) and optional subjects- Economics, Education, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, History, Geography, Mathematics, Anthropology and Statistics. All these subjects have major courses in Arts. In Science faculty 9 subjects are being taught viz. Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Anthropology, Statistics, Computer Science and Geography. Amongst which Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Anthropology, Statistics and Geography offer major course.

Of late, the affiliating university has introduced Environmental studies, multidisciplinary course and computer as compulsory subject in undergraduate programme for both Arts and Science. Moreover, the college offers UGC sponsored Computer Application, Library Management, Fish and Fishery as Carrier oriented ‘add-on’ courses. A Gandhian study centre and Ambedkar study centre are established with the financial assistance of the UGC under the scheme ”Epoch Making Social Thinker” along with the Human Rights Cell of the college. Certificate courses on Human Rights and Gandhian Studies are being provided under the aegis of the concerned centres.
