His Holiness Syedna Dr. Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb (A.Q.S.) The Source of Inspiration The Spiritual Fountain of the college. Saifee Golden Jubilee Quaderia College was established in the year 1962 for the purpose of fulfilling the higher academic aspirations of the students of Burhanpur. It is the first science college in Burhanpur. Prior to the foundation of this college, students aspiring for higher studies after matriculation has to go to distant places which was practically difficult for the middle class and lower class people of Burhanpur. The vision of science college materialized when in July, 1962, Late his Holiness Syedna Dr. Taher Saifuddin Saheb (A.Q.S.), who was also the chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, laid foundation to this college. The foundation of the college coincided with the happy commemoration of the golden jubilee of his accession to the august seat of Dawate Hadiya (Dai-Ul-Mutlat) so the college is named Saifee Golden Jubilee Quaderia College
