ith the vision of imparting quality education to the students of the rural area and making them self reliant, this institution has been established in 1983 at the august hands of Her Excellency Smt. Pratibhatai Patil and Dr. Devisinghji Shekhawat, the founders of the premiere Education Society of Central India the “Vidya Bharati Education Society, Amravati”. Started from a scratch the college has been now developed into an institute of ‘Continuing Education’ viz. from degree to Ph.D. Initially the college was imparting education in science but has with time added new degree courses like B.A., B.Com., PG courses like M.Sc. (Zoology) and M.Com also facility of research in Zoology, Botany and Chemistry. Recently to cater with the growing demands of students the college has introduced M.Sc. (Computer Science), M.A. (Political Science). In order to make students self reliant, the college has added seven UGC sponsored ‘Career Oriented Courses’. The college strives to provide all facilities to the students and in pursuance of this, has erected a magnificent building and infrastructure to cope with modern times.
