D.K.T College of Education is functioning under the DAWOOD KHAN TAJUNISA Educational Trust. DAWOOD KHAN TAJUNISA Educational Trust has been established in the year 2002 to give qualitative educational courses to the children of socially and educationally backward families in and around Tirupur District under the Chairmanship of Dr.Links D.Sowkath Hayath Khan.

D.K.T College of Education is situated at Amaravathipalayam, Tirupur District of Tamilnadu. The campus is 10 K.M. away from Tirupur on the Tirupur to Peruntholuvu State Highways.
