Sahdeo Chandravansi B.Ed. College under self financing scheme Managed and financed by Ram Chandra Chandravansi Welfare Trust, Palamau, Jharkhand. It aims at imparting Education in B.Ed. course to the student both boys & girls under self financing scheme. The college has been recognized by NCTE (ERC) Bhubneshwar and affiliated to Nilamber-Pitamber University; Medininagar (Jharkhand).It has been established in the rural and economically backward area of Palamau to cope with the need of the poor people. Students of this area cannot afford to go to Ranchi or distant places for pursuing B.Ed. course. So keeping this idea in view the above mentioned trust endeavors to establish and start a B.Ed. College with a view to accelerating the higher education in this area.Sahdeo Chandravansi B.Ed. College. Palamau, Vill.-Nawadih Kala, P.O./P.S./Dist.- Palamau, Jharkhand-822124 has submitted on application (Code No.: APE00767}to the Eastern Regional Committee of NCTE for grant of recognition for starting B.Ed. Course of one year duration with an annual intake of 100 (one hundred) students.AND WHEREAS on scrutiny of the application submitted by the institution the documents attached therewith the affidavit and the input received from the visiting team in the form of report and videography, recommendation of the State. Government, the Committee is satisfied that institution fulfills the requirements under the provisions of NCTE Act, Rules and relevant Regulations including the Norms and Standards for the Secondary Teacher Education (B.Ed.) Programme Such as instructional facilities, Infra structural facilities, library, accommodation, financial resources laboratory etc. for running the programme and has appointed duly qualified teaching staff as per NCTE norms.
