Mahatma Gandhi College of Education, a self supporting Teachers’ Training College was started in the year 2007 to conduct graduate and postgraduate courses in Teacher Education. Our college offers B.Ed., Course with an intake of 100 students and M.Ed., course with an intake of 35 students. Dr.R.Kannan is the chairman of this reputed institution.
It is owned and managed by SRI K.RAMACHANDRA NAIDU MEMORIAL EDUCATIONAL TRUST – SOLAISERI. The aim of the managing trust is to impart Quality Teacher Education to the weaker sections of the society and to provide opportunities for the rural students. In addition to Mahatma Gandhi College of Education, a renowned Mahatma Gandhi College of Arts and Science for Women and Mahatma Gandhi Teacher Training Institute are also functioning under the management.
Mahatma Gandhi College of Education established in the year 2007, in affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. The aim of our institute is to prepare high caliber, dedicated service oriented Teachers who could do valuable service to the future building generation and to provide quality education so as to bring out social transformation and nation building. The college is located in a pollution free clean, calm, natural environment with all infrastructure facilities and other latest academic facilities to enable proper education.
