The Peniel Rural College of Education (PRCE) has been started by the Vocational Training and Rehabilitation Centre (VTRC) in the Dindigul District, Tamilnadu, after getting the approval of the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) to offer Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,) degree course to first generation college and University graduates, hailing from rural areas.
It was affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University during 2007 – 2008. Since 2008 – 2009, it is affiliated to the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.
