In order to fulfill the gap to the extent possible; JAI GEETANJALI EDUCATIONAL TRUST has decided to establish a college, which shall provide education to the future teachers with the aid of latest techniques at par with International Standards.
JAI GEETANJALI EDUCATIONAL TRUST is a Trust formed under The Indian Trusts Act, 1882 and is registered with the Sub-Registrar vide registration No. 2007 dated 24.11.2006. The Trust has been established to promote education in the area.
The catchment area of the proposed colleges is 40-km radius wherein there is a great demand of B. Ed. teachers. In this area the number of schools imparting education is in hundreds. These schools are operating with untrained teachers, which results in lower standard of education resulting in loss of precious exchequer in terms of time and money.
The proposed location shall cover the Districts of Yamuna Nagar, Ambala and Panchkula. The combined population of these Districts as per last census was about 26 odd Lakhs. If the trust proposes to cater to only 40% of this population; the population to be served shall be approximately 10.4 Lakhs. The proposed number of students intake shall be 100 students per annum. The proposed college shall be co-educational.
