As principal of Maharshi Dayanand Science College-Porbandar, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website. Since 1966 we are providing a platform for science education and research for students. We have high class infrastructure and facilities with well-equipped Laboratories like chemistry-physics-botany lab, Research Lab, Soil-Micronutrient lab, Computer lab, Dell Lab, Class Rooms with Multimedia facilities, Seminar Hall, modernized Library. It is heartening to note that we are blessed with highly talented faculty members. We are proud of strong team of meticulously trained, dedicated and committed faculty and staff and most advanced teaching aids. We appreciate the ongoing research by a number of our faculty. NAAC has accredited Maharshi Dayanand Science College with a C+ grade in the first round, in 2007. The Second round of reaccreditation process is on, and we hope to improve our performance. In the past 48 years, Maharshi Dayanand Science College has grown not only in strength and size but also in levels of excellence in science education and research. Our College has been a hub of many activities of excellence and achievements both by students and staff.
