Sri Sai University is a University established by an Act, 2010 (No. 3 of 2011) of state legislature of Himachal Pradesh as a State Private University. Government of Himachal Pradesh accorded approval through legislation to establish Sri Sai University Palampur in the year 2010. Its foundation ceremony was performed on 23-09-2009. The university is managed by Sri Sai Education Society. The society also manages Sri Sai Group of Institutes. It is named after spiritual leader Sri Satya Sai Baba. It is a multi-disciplinary and World Class University located amidst the sylvan surroundings of Kangra Valley.
